[SDGs] Wood Use Movement Promotion Project/Visiting a Yuzu Farm and Aroma Distillation Experience

A wood use promotion project run by EarthRing.

The first event of the year will be a visit to a yuzu farm in Nomi City.
Yuzu is an essential part of Japanese winter cuisine. Just as forestry workers maintain the forests we want to protect, farmers cultivate yuzu with love. This time, we have planned an event where you can learn about and experience yuzu.

This time, the event will be held in Nomi City for the first time, expanding from Hakusan City.
This is the birthplace of "Kunizukuri Yuzu," the aromatic raw material, and you can help with yuzu cultivation in the Kunizukuri district of Nomi City and experience aromatic distillation.

We will also hear from a yuzu farmer about yuzu cultivation.
We look forward to your participation!

Date: Sunday, June 4, 2023, 11:30-14:00
Meeting place: Kokuzo Satoyama Park Community Center (21-1 Wakemachi, Nomi City, Ishikawa Prefecture)
Participation fee: 500 yen (general participants/volunteer members)
