Creating a rich cycle in the local community through fragrance. With the same passion since our founding, we continue to work on everything from daily product development to local activities. In order to make efficient use of limited resources, we shine a spotlight on materials hidden in the local area and use them as fragrance ingredients, creating a new source of income for the local community. We support people living with illness by using aromas to heal the mind and body. We aim to achieve carbon neutrality by donating a portion of our sales to reforestation. We are tackling these major challenges through collaboration with people in different positions.
There is still so much that scent can do. We will continue to explore new possibilities.
(Formerly the Wood Use Movement Promotion Project)
Founded by EarthRing and LODU, a venture company based in Nonoichi City, whose mission is to "create a world where everyone can pursue a happy and sustainable way of life." By using a portion of our sales for forest conservation through Woodcast, we aim to maintain the health of the mountains, circulate their blessings to the local community and people, and make them sustainable.
This is a regional co-creation project set in the foothills of sacred Mt. Hakusan, where people from different regions and professions come together to tackle forestry issues. With a vision of "using wood to grow mountains and protect water," trees are cut down, used, and the next tree is planted to grow the forest. As part of activities to restore this cycle, we are creating new uses for wood.
We are a group of people with knowledge and experience in environmental education activities who are working to propose sustainable and harmonious lifestyles and promote the selection of environmentally friendly products and services. In order to protect the global environment, we use our living spaces and local communities as experimental sites, deepening our research through practice and nurturing human resources who will be active in the local community.
Genchan House is a facility that can be used by anyone affected by cancer, including those with cancer, their families, friends, and those who have lost loved ones to cancer. You can quietly look at yourself, connect with others who are suffering from the same problem, and receive professional support. It is neither a hospital nor a home, but a place that feels like another "home" for you.
