The "Wood Use Movement Promotion Project" is run by EarthRing to grow forests using trees.
The third activity this year was clearing undergrowth around the beech seedlings that were planted last year.
The beech trees planted last year are still small and need to be weeded. Let's check the growth of the planted seedlings together. Weeding is a mundane task, but it is a very important job in growing seedlings. Hiroyoshi Oda of Shiramine Sangyo will be giving us some guidance.
Please also come and check out the condition of the cedar trees that were pruned in July, and experience for yourself the forestry activities being carried out as part of the "Wood Use Promotion Project."
